How businesses set earn rates
Each business decides how many points to award per dollar spent. A coffee shop might give 10 points per dollar (10% back in value), while a high-margin retailer might offer 5 points per dollar (5% back). The earn rate varies, but the point value itself does not.
When you browse businesses in the app, you can see their earn rate up front. That helps you plan where to shop if you are trying to grow your balance quickly.
